Smok ProColor 225W Kit Review--A Feast of Colors
Smok TFV8 Baby series tanks have become the flagship products of Smok brand. They’ve been built onto many mods, forming those classic kits, such as the T-Priv Kit, G-Priv Kit, Q-box Kit, Alien Kit and so on.
After all these classic kits, Smok still stuck to the TFV8 Big baby tank and forged this Smok Procolor Kit. Check it out!
Smok Procolor 225w comes in 7 colors, black, green, purple, blue, red, silver and rainbow color. The one I chose is in purple color. It is packed in a hat box of the same color as the kit itself. It contains a Smok Procolor mod and a TFV8 Big Baby Tank,a set of spare accessories including a coil, a glass tube, o-rings, bands, filling spacer, a user manual, a USB cable, a battery warning card and a warning card.
The TFV8 Big Baby tank can contain 5ml liquid. It’s composed of five parts including the drip tip, top cap, glass tube, coil head and base. The size of the drip tip on it is 810 which is much bigger and higher than 510 drip tip, giving vapers a much smoother vaping experience. The TFV8 Baby tank features a top fill system and a bottom airflow system. To refill it, you will just need to push the top cap along the arrow direction as it’s marked on the top cap. The airflow adjusting ring is carved with with carved lines which adds the friction to spin it. On the bottom airflow ring, it has the same design.
The Procolor 225w is in an almost-rectangular shape with a big shield-shaped OLED screen on it. It measures 85*46*29.5mm and can match with an atomizer of 25mm diameter without overhang. If the 510 connector could be moved a little bit closer to the center, it would be absolutely able to match a 29.5mm atomizer. I believe the manufacturer will soon realize this defect.
Procolor 225w features a huge fire button on its side, but the force bearing area is mainly on its up part. The pressing is quite ringing. Seemingly, it has been a common sense among most of the manufacturers regarding how to turn on the mod (press the fire button five times consecutively).
Its high-definition OLED screen gives you a very comfortable vision experience. It displays every details of the vaping data including battery indicators, wattage (temperature), vaping time, resistance, voltage, puff times, mode, etc. The two adjustment buttons are on the OLED screen at its bottom. By pressing them together, you can lock/unlock the mod. Below them is the USB port for charging. The framework of the OLED screen is a LED light which can be customized into 12 colors in total.
By pressing the fire button three times consecutively, you can set the mode including Power mode, TC mode (Ti, Ni, SS, M). You can also set the puff times, screen color and LED light color.
On the opposite side of the screen, there is a shield-shaped panel printed with the name of this device. Its battery compartment is at the bottom of this box mod and two 18650 batteries are required to fire it.

1. 510 connector can be more centered to match atomizers of much bigger diameters.
2. The paint on the tank is not as solid as that on the mod.
